Turkey salad with cranberries, celery, and toasted pecans. Mayo dressing. Served as a sandwich on cranberry pecan bread. Also can have as a salad. I'll prol'ly opt for the latter.
Dessert: tres leches cake and iced Earl Grey.

(22,789 posts)It is hot here too. But the garden does look really good this year. I had an Amish guy bring me a load of cow manure last fall and I see a real difference.

(16,975 posts)I finished some tuna salad I made 2 days ago,filled a wrap with tuna and chopped lettuce.
Had a peanut butter chocolate chip sundae for dessert.
Not low-carb, but my weight and sugar are steady

(10,137 posts)I got some swordfish at a good price yesterday, so lunch was tostadas with leftover fish marinated in lime and chile sauce. Not our best effort: the sharpness of the fish didn't go well with the refried beans.
Tonight is homemade pizza, with a fresh tomato sauce.

There's still cookies if we want dessert.
Dad had lasagna, w/ a side of steamed green beans.

(22,767 posts)Since today is payday, we're having our once per month steak dinner treat. The local grocery is having great sales ahead of Fathers Day this weekend, so was able to get a family pack of 2 rib eyes for a really good price. Having baked yellow potatoes and Brussels sprouts along with.
No dessert really, but I got the ingredients for this chocolate poke cake linked below and will make it tomorrow. (It's the only time I ever use a cake mix because once you're done with it, it's indiscernible from scratch and totally decadent)
