and a toss salad loaded with goodies from the garden. We have three blueberry bushes at the edge of the garden. I picked our first blueberries of the season this morning and they're in the salad too.

Flavor's not bad, husband thinks it's pretty good. I misread the recipe and didn't use a whole pound of mushrooms. I used penne pasta, not quite a pound, and sour cream. I also added a couple more TBS of butter at the end just before the sour cream.

UPDATE: Husband had a second serving, so it seems he really likes it.

Turkey: brined, butterflied and seasoned w/ a chipotle seasoning and grilled w/ a smoke box. (It was a small turkey, so it was only on the grill for an hour or so. Not a tremendous flavor of smoke, but it was there. Maybe the juiciest turkey I've ever eaten.

Sides were Stove Top stuffing (Dad likes it), gravy, potato salad, and green beans.

I made a North Carolina lemon pie for dessert.

It was a nice day. It was a GREAT meal.
