What's for Dinner, Tues., July 5, 2022

Last edited Tue Jul 5, 2022, 09:46 PM - Edit history (1)

Cranberry, toasted walnut, and feta cheese salad. Used romaine and Simpson lettuce. Made balsamic-honey vinaigrette.

Wesleydale cranberry cheese (white cheddar) and sliced ham on baguette. I toasted the sandwich so the cheese was melted.

Dessert: Trader Joe's Thai bananas, breaded, and a cup of iced decaf.

I hate frying chicken, so I made enough while I was at it to last a few more days. As if I don't do that almost every time I cook.

Had some ground beef left over from yesterday's hamburgers, so I'm combining that with some leftover tomato sauce from last week's pizza to make a poor person's pasta bolognese (food is always better when you give it a pretentious - preferably foreign - name). With a green salad on the side.
