I put some cambozola on raw chopped cauliflower, roasted walnuts and and cooked chicken. Microwaved it for 2.5 minutes. Was delicious. I used half of a cambozola wedge for each serving.

(302 posts)I searched Penzeys (Spices) for cambonzola, but found zero results. It must be a specialty spice. Perhaps it's similar to Melange ('the spice') as noted in the science fiction novel 'Dune' (by Frank Herbert).

(27,815 posts)I think it's spelled Cambozola, though. A combination of Camembert and Gorgonzola, maybe?

(302 posts)Thank you LisaM. I (obviously) thought it was a type of spice; however, Cambozola is an expensive cow's milk cheese that is a combination in style of a French soft-ripened triple cream cheese and Italian Gorgonzola.

I like that crackling cauliflower, kind of spicy, curried, with peas and shallots.
