I'm going to pay for it, I'm sure. That's a lot of sugar.

I've got a heating pad on it right now.

My COVID test (performed yesterday) was negative.

Al's done w/ all medical and therapy appointments until 8/5, and I don't have to cook for Dad again until Tuesday. A few days of no particular responsibilities may help.

Still worried about Al's eye, but the doc says that what's done is done. There's a possibility that some vision loss may return, but we won't know until he goes back on 8/5 to have the other eye done.

I guess there's no point in stressing about it. What will be, will be. (Easier said than done.)

At garden early because of heat. Will get artichoke soufflé at Panera on way home.

5. I started to water my garden yesterday and it started raining.

We haven't had much rain this summer and we're in a bad drought. It rained lightly all day and according to my rain gauge we only got 1/4 of an inch. Better than nothing, LOL.

7. Husband fixed himself breakfast this morning.

He had a poached egg on toasted English muffin. I just ate a bowl of cold cereal and sipping on a mocha.
