What's for Dinner, Thurs., Sept. 22, 2022

Grilled swordfish with basil pesto.

Zucchini slices, breaded with flour, then panko. The panko has grated parmesan--about a 50/50 mix, along with chopped herbs.

Bean salad. Has a variety of beans in it: fresh green, red, etc.

Warm tortilla on the side.

Peach kombucha.

Dessert: watermelon.

Here I'm making spinach salad, homemade pasta sauce (simmering as I type) and homemade pasta. It's really yummy!

We’re anchored off Sandy Hook, NJ and the First Mate is making a tuna steak with soy sauce and wasabi, Japanese rice and a baby spinach salad. We actually have a bottle of saki aboard!

We’re staying here until the weather improves on Saturday then heading south to Atlantic City.

Large deli-sliced pepperoni slices, sliced baby bella mushrooms, marinated artichokes, onion, banana pepper rings, with provolone and parmesan cheese, crust brushed with olive oil and minced garlic (no tomato sauce), and a green salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

Water.

You need a big mortar and pestle to do it right, too. It's one of my favorite salads!
