We weren't in any danger of going hungry, but there were a lot of things we were running out of. Since we were both testing negative, we figured it was safe to go to the store. Of course, we masked up.

Husband had his usual pre-breakfast earlier, is not sure yet what he wants otherwise.
I'd been thinking about Dutch baby pancake, and then Callalilly posted hers with apples and really made me want one. Gonna have to decide if I want to use up that many eggs given the prices are way up again due to avian flu.
ETA: made breakfast sandwiches (scram egg, extra sharp cheddar and bacon on biscuit, mine with blackberry preserves) and hash brown potato patties. There weren't instructions for cooking them in the regular toaster, but I tried it anyway. Worked great and so much faster than the toaster oven instructions.

(35,675 posts)Open-face sandwich with marscarpone, sliced cucumber and tomato, plus red shallot sliced on the mandoline.
Herbs (basil, chives) sprinkled over the tope with a little olive oil. S & P of course.
At some point, watermelon slice.

(16,962 posts)Bulk sage sausage I made a couple weeks ago, the last of a loaf of bread I made last week, toasted. A little bit of cheese.
I was going to stop at McDonald's on my way home from pet-sitting, but they were so busy, I figured getting home and cooking would get me fed faster
