Long grain brown rice
Cayenne, garlic, bay leaves and paprika
I removed a large serving for my neighbor before adding the shrimp as he doesn't eat seafood,

Veggies plopped in, in an hour.
Peeling potatoes now for mash.
Pool warming, it's been cool here in central Fla, and wood in the fire pit for this evening. Hopefully no bugs.

(10,159 posts)a dish inspired by (well, largely copied from) one an Italian restaurant back in New York offered nearly 50 years ago. Used Portuguese linguisa because that's what I had, but otherwise a stew of sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions.
