4. Jambalaya

Chicken breast, Andouille sausage, and shrimp.
Celery, onion and bell pepper
Tomatoes, one can with chili and one without
Chicken stock from a can
Long grain brown rice
Cayenne, garlic, bay leaves and paprika

I removed a large serving for my neighbor before adding the shrimp as he doesn't eat seafood,

5. Yankee pot roast.

In the Dutch oven with red wine and beef stock.
Veggies plopped in, in an hour.
Peeling potatoes now for mash.
Pool warming, it's been cool here in central Fla, and wood in the fire pit for this evening. Hopefully no bugs.

9. Sausage and peppers

a dish inspired by (well, largely copied from) one an Italian restaurant back in New York offered nearly 50 years ago. Used Portuguese linguisa because that's what I had, but otherwise a stew of sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions.
