Kohlrabi slaw. Made with lime juice and peanuts.
Peach Paradise kombucha.
Decaf vanilla-nut and five-seeded almond bar.
I really want a piece of chocolate cake but refrained from buying any at the store. But I still want it.

He made a fresh pot of coffee, so I made myself a mocha and added the last of the holiday Frangelico.
Just homemade pizza.

Crab salad with tons of veggies as an appetizer.
Flash seared beef filets marinated in garlic oil. Mashed potatoes with butter.
Dessert was apple slices with cinnamon and sugar. Then we watched the quirky but excellent Benny And Joon movie.

Yum to that dinner. I like the flash seared beef filets part and oh, the veggies as the appetizer!

(10,137 posts)dal makhani (made some time ago in a big batch and frozen in 2-person portions), aloo gobi (cauliflower and potatoes, not as good as some of my attempts), and chicken korma, with a store-bought sauce. And there are a lot of leftovers for later this week.
