Bought some fresh beansprouts on my way home from errands so I can have more beef bulgogi tonight!
Plus it's crime show night, so a big salad later for that. It will be arugula, freshly picked, and red lettuce. Tomatoes, green and yellow peppers, red onion, and radishes. Caesar dressing. Topping of Chinese noodles for crunchiness.
Dessert: toasted waffle with yogurt and blueberries.

(9,999 posts)Vegetable tortellini soup. I've been wanting to try the recipe for awhile now and it seemed like the perfect night for it.
The First Mate was bored this afternoon and decided to make a pizza from scratch. She made the dough and left it on the deck to rise in the sun.
Shes putting sauce, onions, baby Bella mushrooms, peppers, anchovies and mozzarella cheese as toppings. The oven has to heat up on to 425 degrees which we havent done on the boat. But since the range has a broiler, Im sure itll be okay.
A green salad will use up our fresh vegetables but balance the pie.
Were stuck here until Sunday but we still have plenty of food!

(22,767 posts)I didn't eat last night and husband absconded with his bowl before I got a shot. I felt like eating tonight, so took a photo of my bowl. I sent the photo to my best friend and she asked is it very cheesy. Stopped me in my tracks. I have no idea why neither husband or I even thought about topping the bowls with grated cheese. So brilliant!
Like I said the other day, I'm no longer the kitchen witch I once was.
But the soup is truly excellent! He had cole slaw with his and I had a small bowl of tapioca pudding after.
