(22,767 posts)and it's been quite a while since we've had steak, so I got these thick, beautiful chuck eye steaks. Same part of the cow the ribeye is cut from, the shoulder) just as juicy and tasty, but at half the price.
They're in the fridge dry brining for tonight, and likely leftover for breakfast.

(22,767 posts)I would rather be having takeout Chinese. Haven't had that in a quite a while, either, and it's my fav leftover-cold-outtha-fridge breakfast. Hands down.
I'm sitting here trying to figure out what else to have tonight. I have some corn on the cob, but I need to check it and the yellow potatoes to make sure they're still good. Which I shoulda done before I made the grocery order. Oh, well.
But leftovers are what is served here at least 4 out of 7 days of the week around here. No shame in that - at all!

(5,678 posts)Just the sammy cuz it had liverwurst for the pate component, sliced pork, and leftover teriyaki chicken meat. Topped that with pickled red onion, carrot and jalapeños. Also cukes, cilantro and a siracha mayo.
Big, filling Sammy!
