What's for Dinner, Thurs., Nov. 3, 2022

Creamy mushroom soup with onion, garlic, and celery. Cheese filled ravioli in the soup.

Thinly sliced ham and provolone sandwich on 21-seed bread with honey mustard.

Kohlrabi zoodles with toasted almonds and sesame-ginger dressing.

Wish I had some more squash blossoms. They are so good. I just wash them, fill with goat cheese, dip them in egg and tempura mix, and fry them. They turn out golden brown and are oh so delicious.

Oh well, next trip to the garden. The weather is holding up here, so I'm likely to be able to pick more.

and rice noodles with homemade peanut sauce, with a side salad of thin sliced cuke and sweet onion in slightly sweetened vinegar.

We're drinking coffee and water, as usual.

I baked a frozen Mrs. Smith's pumpkin pie earlier and it's chilling in the fridge. Will probably have some of that later on. (Husband makes a great pumpkin pie from scratch, but when he doesn't feel up to making one, I just get Mrs. Smith's when they start going on sale for the holidays.)

when we were eating all veg, we decided we loved these nuggets for this dish over and above real chicken, but I can't recall trying their chik'n patties. If they taste like the nuggets, they're no doubt pretty good. For some reason that now escapes me, we used to buy the patties from Quorn instead.

Gotta get all the Chesapeake Bay crab we can before we head south into the ICW on Saturday.

Homemade cakes pan fried with broccoli, onions, potato wedges and garlic. One pan dish.

Dark chocolate and a movie for dessert.

Always love to see your moon photos.

One night when there was a spectacular moon event going on--can't remember what it was--a friend called and exclaimed, "Have you seen the moon?" I said no and the friend said you have to go outside to see it.

I was too lazy to do that but I figured you'd post a pic and sure enough, you did!

So the next time I talked to my friend, I could say I checked out the moon. I didn't have to say how, LOL.

Was on patio earlier, friend cutting my hair and his nieces came with him (6 SWEET kids,) when one of them said 'look, the moon,' and I caught the first of my several pics. ALMOST missed sunset, due to the hour and location (house between patio with moon and setting sun!)
