Related: About this forumLasagna soup I'm gonna try and make this.
18 showed it to me so here goes and its all by eye in how much you use cuz it has no measurements.
Brown meat Im using ground beef and Italian hot and sweet.
Sautéed diced garlic onion in olive oil.
Stir in tomato paste marinara and spices and broth Im using beef stock.
Then break lasagne noodles into halves or quarters.
And combine ricotta mozzarella Parmesan cheese mix in bowl and serve over soup.
Im going to add garlic bread as side.
Gonna try this maybe Saturday or Sunday. We are on an Italian cuisine bender ravioli and meatballs tonight.

(86,629 posts)I might make that! The mixed meats will make the flavor. When I worked at a pizzeria one summer, that's what we used in our lasagna, it was very good.

(86,629 posts)The fennel seeds make the sweetness, you can add a little more if there isn't enough. Since you aren't eating just the sausage alone, the flavors and heat get diluted into the sauce. You might get a nice warm bite here and there but mostly it puts a nice glow throughout the whole dish.
Enjoy.
ETA: It was the hottest stuff the food service company sold.

(17,294 posts)Do you use canned Lima beans? Ive yet to find a casserole I dislike! How much of each? Do you cook the Mac cheese separately and then mix it all together? Id like to try the concept
. Just bought a box of vegan Mac cheese yesterday to test out

(25,816 posts)The cheese. I have never eaten cheese. I just can't take the smell and texture. When I call in to order
a pizza and say 'no cheese' they ask 'is this panader0?'. I love spaghetti and Italian sausage and sauce, just
no cheese please.
Have you ever seen any cheese stuff at a Chinese restaurant? I don't think they eat cheese, and they have
the highest population and longevity. I can smell cheese around the block, so don't try to sneak any into
my food. Just sayin'.

Jan 11, 2021Nguri is a Chinese cheese originating from the province of Fujian. Made from buffalo's milk, the cheese is shaped into small balls with a tender, leathery texture. The flavor of nguri is quite salty and strong, so it is often served as an accompaniment to rice congee. More about Nguri 02 Cheese Rubing YUNNAN, China n/a Pratyeka (CC BY-SA 4.0)

All about Chinese Cheese - You Never Knew it
Another very popular Chinese cheese is the Beijing Cheese. This cheese is produced from cow's milk or goat milk and fermented to aid in the ripening of curds. The curds are then mixed with a variety of ingredients, including glutinous rice powder that aids in the growth of mould while allowing the cheese to ripen.
Dairy is a problem in Asia because of heat and that the vast majority of Asians have some degree of Lactose intolerance. Once milk has been fermented as in cheese or Mongolian Airag, the lactose is no longer a problem.

But, let me offer a tip:
My store sells a pasta shape called, I think, ribbon pasta. It is like lasagna, only not as big and thick, smaller pieces, but you still get the curly bits on the edges. And, you dont have to break it. I liked using that better for the soup.
And, yes
garlic bread.
