6. Had my mocha earlier...

and went back to bed as it's still very cold. Just got up to an empty coffee pot. Had a couple of deviled eggs and a molasses cookie.

Saw this last night after husband was asleep, and if I'd had hot dogs in the fridge rather than the freezer, I swear this is what he'd have woken up to.

9. Downhome Goodness

All made from scratch

Sausage Gravy from The Whistle Stop Cafe Cookbook on top of biscuits made from my stash of White Lily flour.

And it was all good.

I usually work early (starting 7:00, 7:30, 8:00) and don't have the time that it takes for a great breakfast like this.

I've been dreaming of breakfast for a week.

And plenty left for leftovers.

And I have three days off from work.

10. coffee with soy - my usual 2 mugs

in a few minutes: Ezeqiel sprouted english muffin w/ organic egg, goat cheese, and hummus; later this morning: acai banana smoothie with goat milk yogurt and coconut milk.

11. Coffee first

Greek roasted potatoes and linguica with beet slaw and dolmas. I do like a savory breakfast.

Black as usual about 730.Tummy not so happy so only one mug.

Much later a toasted English muffin with butter.
