Swedish meatballs that I made last night but only had one 'cuz I was so tired. Egg noodles with parsley and butter.

Spinach salad with poppyseed dressing.

I'm baking cornbread-blueberry mini-loaves.

Dessert: coffee and a mini-gelato bar, chocolate.

on edit: adding a couple pics

It’s fridge clean out day!

The meat was diced jalapeño brauts, and I used a mix of fresh and frozen veg, and lots of them: onion, red bell pepper, peas, corn, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots. Egg, of course, and seasoned it with sesame oil, soy sauce, and sriracha. It was delicious. There are seconds for later.

For dessert: chocolate ice cream

I’m off work until March and have been enjoying cooking for myself instead of eating from the restaurant five days a week. I do miss my coworkers and working, though.

I was feeding the cat and dog. Dog has two more big honking pills left we need to get into her and she's been really giving us a hard time, skipping out on her usual treats because she suspects they're in there. So I cut a thick piece of summer sausage and quartered it. Gave her a clean piece first, then the piece with the pill, then another clean piece. Pill now inside dog.

While I was at all of that, I cut myself a hunk of the summer sausage and just ate that for my dinner.

Drinking more water!

We had some people over on short notice, so used the last packages of frozen Thanksgiving turkey, some beans cooked in the InstantPot, and dried red chiles for a quick dinner.
