Also cottage cheese and home grown tomatoes. Zucchini/blueberry muffins made earlier in the day for dessert.

organic tomatoes, fresh corn cut from the cob, and beautiful red onion

Alongside a classic cole slaw and a pasta salad.

I spent the afternoon cooking for family members who will be returning from vacation tomorrow. I raided their garden for basil, sugar snap peas, parsley, carrots, etc., and made two bowls of salads: the pasta salad, and also an asian salad with soba noodles, the pea pods, chinese BBQ pork, cashew nuts, shredded napa, bean sprouts, slices of fresh plums, and more.

Also made them a coconut cream pie. That's a nice thing to come home to, I think.
