This is Victor, a koala I met in Australia last fall.

23. I really don't know. I started first of July making the wafer

paper leaves. Then made base and limb. Next was the bear, coloring, and finishing touches. I'd guess around 80 to 100 hours.

53. Not a real cake. See my reply 24. I have one saved from 2011.

It's on styrofoam with around 8 pounds of fondant and modeling chocolate. To tell thee truth, I would say this is an epic fail from what I designed. I misjudged the weight and the 'tree limb' came crashing down 9 days ago. Messed up the foundation board, and knocked his head side-ways. This was the best I could do to fix it.
