What's for Dinner, Sun., Feb. 4, 2024

Broccoli rabe with German bratwursts. I'm mixing the broccoli rabe with tubettini and many garlic cloves.
Mozzarella goes with the broccoli, too. For the bratwursts, I've mixed up Dijon with fennel seeds.

Oranges for dessert.

Strawberry lime kombucha.

We had sun today. I am ecstatic!! First sun in a week or maybe more! Yesterday, too.

I forgot it was on, thanks. The guys seem to have fun now that the NFL changed the format to flag football. But I think "so-called" is a pretty good description.

I have various frozen veggies in steamer packs. I don't know which I'll pick.
Still plenty of strawberries so I'll have some with yogurt after.

It is a work night for TJ so I'm on my own.

Apple pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

We're having guests this evening so I'm making an easy dinner for four. I started the marinara yesterday and the chicken cutlets are in the sous vide right now. Dinner at 5:30 PM mountain time.

Ground beef and black beans, but chile paste (ancho, pasilla and mulato) instead of chili powder. Other seasonings added, including cumin, oregano and cayenne.

I made a big enough batch to can 7 pints and we had the rest for supper.

A couple chicken thighs.breaed them. AIR?fried them
and simmered 3 cans of petite diced tomatoes. Drained with garlic and onion.
Air fried the thighs. Put in the provolone. And ate. The sauce was fantastic. And made my camper . Smell .I dunno. It tasted real good. Total cost 17 bucks. As i live alone i eatx2 dinners. A couple lunch sandwiches. Where the sauce doesn't come in.
9 bucks? 5 meals for a single pers
