Dice potatoes ,
Dice some ham,
Fry potatoes and ham until most taters have a crisp, on them. Salt and pepper, to taste.
Now for the trust me, part,
Add 1 can cream corn!
Refrigerator over night.
It has crunch, saltiness, a bit of heat from pepper, and then the sweetness of the corn.
Cheap enough, and easy to make, tastes pretty darn good.
Try it sometime.
