What's for Dinner, Tues., July 30, 2024

Last edited Wed Jul 31, 2024, 08:48 AM - Edit history (1)

Pizza made with garden vegetables and cheddar sausage. I picked 5 green peppers in one day!
Gigantic salad later, using baby romaine, arugula, tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, and peppers.

Pineapple turmeric kombucha.

Dessert: ice cream bars (the miniature ones).

I thought I got a boneless chicken breast from the freezer, but it was bone in. I broasted it over the peppers I cut up. When all was done, I drizzled a little liquid smoke on the peppers to loosen them from the foil. Made some plain rice. It was good.

My daughter got me some salmon rub and after reading the label, tried it on the chicken. Worked nicely

Whipped lime s.f. jello for dessert.

I had Internet access while I was gone, just didn't post because I ate like a teenager at a nature camp

I saw you posted yesterday for July 20, which turned out to be a typo, but I can dream you turned back the clock

C’mon, give us a few teenager/nature camp sample meals so we can have a good laugh. 😂

Mainly dealing with a lack of utensils, pans, plates and bowls. Kept everything simple. There was a mixup in a pizza order, so I ate pizza for 4 days. I got a bottle of Cattleman's Gold bbq sauce and doused everything with that. Except the pizza

I recommend the make-do Mozarella omelets and grilled bread. I don't recommend the bakery muffins that fell out of their flimsy box on the drive as I got out of the car. The deer will tell you they were yummy. lol
