Try something with dill for your tummies. Dill was used for ages as a tonic for babies with colic. I just used bunches of dill in tonight's easily digestible dinner: salmon in dill, lemon, and butter sauce, Yukon gold potatoes mashed with butter and almond milk, and an enormous salad with green leaf lettuce, yellow and red tomatoes, avocado, chick peas and thinly sliced onion tossed with a vinaigrette made from rice wine white vinegar, finely minced clove of garlic, salt, pepper, a few drops of cold water, and only a drizzle of olive oil (2 tsp). I omit most of the oil in a vinaigrette if the salad is heavy with other fats, such as avocado and cheese. For dessert, strawberry sorbet with chocolate shell garnished with a fresh berry.

Get well soon!

it next time!

Your meal sounds yummy!

I'm craving salads lately but we haven't been able to track down the Salad Supreme stuff that I love with salad. I can forgo dressing entirely when I have it on hand! In the meantime, I'm doing lots of greens with smoked swiss and piling whatever else strikes my fancy.
I have garbanzos, I should add them too!

Is that a salad dressing? I'm doing collard greens tonight with garbanzos, so we are on the same wavelength. Glad you and hubster are feeling better.

Romano Cheese
sesame, poppy & celery seeds
garlic, paprika, black & red pepper, and salt

I have found copycat recipes, but it's just easier to buy it when I can find it. It's a great blend for salads.

I couldn't have it because of the cheese...unless the Romano was made with sheep or goat's milk. I have all the other ingredients on hand, though, and would probably use them in a vinaigrette. Thanks for 'splaining, Lucy!

I had pork chops baked with escalloped potatoes. The potatoes were in a cream, butter and gruyere cheese sauce. I even have enough left for tomorrow night.
