This is our holiday dinner a day early
ham
mustard greens
baked sweet potato
scalloped potatoes
fresh pineapple
dinner rolls baking soon
Peter, Ducky's best buddy, is coming. We haven't told him yet.
Edit: We just told Ducky that Peter was coming. He's now walking around and barking in different directions at random. Running to his window and each door in turn. To put it mildly he's excited.

(1,686 posts)Easy dinner tonight. Air-fried Beyond Sausage Italian sausage, cauliflower florets and sweet potato nuggets. Made the items in 3 rounds and kept everything warm in the oven while all the cooking was done. Have to make ice cream pies later for tomorrows dinner at our nieces home. Cheers!🥂

(1,516 posts)Son talked me into hitting Publix in case theres something we need for the big dinner tomorrow
and being Wednesday, he steered us straight toward the $5 sushi bar. (I think he got California rolls, and I think this was his entire reason for suggesting the side quest.)
Being Publixthe land of BOGO (buy one get one free), we wound up with almost $100 worth of stuff we didnt need, but at least some of that means less cooking for me tomorrowmost notably pies (Marie Callander Dutch apple and pecan pies ).
I already made my vegan turkey roast and just need to heat it through as I roast my stuffing, tatties and carrots, and make my mushroom gravy (morels!) Finally, a meal worth reporting on. Ive gotten so lackadaisical about exerting myself after work these days. *sigh*
Best part? I realized at the end of the day that Im off until Monday!
