Breakfast Thanksgiving 27 November 2025

Black coffee ☕, and a slice of pecan pie with a teaspoon of cool whip.

Lots of leftovers from our early Thanksgiving dinner. We had a wonderful time with our family.

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

I'm visiting my daughter and son-in-law. They're still asleep. We did a lot of prep work yesterday so all I have to do today is prepare the dressing/stuffing. We put some in the bird and some in a separate baking dish. While the turkey rests, we remove the stuffing and put it back in the oven to make sure it is fully cooked.

Tried something different this year. Made homemade rolls, baked them till they just started to brown then took them out, brushed them with a little butter and let them cool. We'll pop them back in the oven with the stuffing until they are golden. I hope it works. 🤞

nephew brought us all kind of goodies from his Hershey chocolate factory. Several boxes of Heath Toffee bars, big bag of Reese's pieces, and Ice Breakers Ice Cube chewing gum.

Black coffee.

I'm baking 2 kinds of rolls to take to my daughter's for Thanksgiving dinner. I set up a dozen eggs to pickle yesterday. I'm making Rice Krispie treats. Some guests have food allergies, so one pan of rolls is for the food sensitive and the treats are, too.

We will enjoy a full meal, that we will all enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I made a tomato, spinach, mushroom egg scramble earlier today, I followed that up with 2 freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and hot tea.

I think of you all often

It’s now 5:56 and we’re just finishing up some vegan sausage and breakfast rolls with orange icing…

We’d been "treated" at work with a HUGE turkey dinner from a Mennonite restaurant—none of which I could eat—so I brought it home and son snarfed it last night. Mind you, this is a guy who eats like a hobbit. There is rarely a dinner without a second dinner. However, this pile was so monstrous (I swear it weighed almost 10 pounds!) that it knocked him right out and he slept until maybe 3 this afternoon.

So the big dinner will wait until we’ve processed our brekkie and probably won’t even start cooking until later. We’re both off for four days so don’t even have to pretend to be adults.
