Basque Seafood Stew. It has cod, littleneck clams, and mussels, along with 12 (!) cloves of garlic, clam juice, white wine, oregano, sage.

While getting all this snow, I was doing projects like rearranging my cookbooks and found my Julee Rosso cookbook, Good Food. Jullee was a co-founder of The Silver Palate, a food shop on Columbus Ave. near 73rd. My friend and I used to get our munchies for the weekend there, as she lived around the corner. I found this recipe in that cookbook.

Kombucha: Ginger.

Dessert: Vanilla ice cream with a Verona Apricot Raspberry cookie. Hot Earl Grey tea.

1. Sheet pan dinner

Pork chops, delicata squash, baby potatoes, Haven't decided on the seasoning yet. Just went foraging in my freezer. We're seriously snowed in here in NW VA so I have to make do with what I have.

4. Chicken Thighs

Still working on leftovers

Baked chicken thighs with BBQ sauce
Sweet potato
Green beans
Corn on the cob

Ducky is my sole dinner companion.

The sauce is in the freezer, so it's an easy dinner!

9. When I was in high-school, working at Steak-n-Shake

we called it Chili-mac. Steak-n-Shake didn't use chili beans in theirs though.

7. Leftover Green Pea Vegetable Soup

Tasted even better tonight than yesterday. Also made a pan of jalapeño cornbread as a side. Cheers!🥂
