Starting off with an appetizer of tuna salad, banana pepper rings (I owe my buddy Sheltie a
for that combo idea), ciligene, wheat crackers. Chipotle mayo. Red onion.
Baby arugula salad with aforementioned ciligene, cherry tomatoes, toasted walnuts, and vinaigrette, homemade.
Breaded eggplant cutlet with tomato sauce and melted provolone. Sliced basil over the top and a bit of Parmesan.
Kombucha: cherry.
Dessert: Hot chocolate with marshmallows and almond biscotti.

(1,882 posts)Just got back from a Lenten Fish Fry at a local parish. Beer battered haddock, fries, slaw, mac and potato salad and fresh rye bread. A carb extravaganza! Glad we only eat these amazing carb bombs a couple times a year because if you eat the entire meal youre talking over 4k calories! This one was pretty darn good. I brought half home. Cheers!🥂
