Eating too much lately

Have to clear food out of thr fridge and freezer since it quit working.
Currently it is a big cooler packed with ice.
Since it is a warranty repair it is taking extra time to get a technician over.
First world problems.
Tomorrow I make a pumpkin pie to save the frozen pumpkin puree.

When my refrigerator conked out (a bit over 2 years after purchase), I contacted Lowe's to get it repaired (I had purchased a 3 year extended warranty). The whole thing turned into a nightmare. It to9k over 3 months for the warranty company to order the correct parts needed for the repair and finally get the repair done. I had to go out and buy giant bags of ice evert few days, and still lost a lot of food to spoilage. The warranty company never compensated me in any way for my losses.
I received an email from customer service from Lowes, asking me about my experience. I replied, letting them know the details. They wrote back, saying that someone would call me to follow-up. I never heard from them again.
I sincerely hope that you have better luck and receive much better assistance than I did. Good luck!

we will have someone here in a few hours.

This was disapointing because the icemaker stopped and after 2 weeks the parts came in for the repairman who came by. Not sure what happened but the icemaker didn't restart and the unit stopped cooling.
We will see how it goes. The last one went about 10 years before we moved into this apartment and my wife wanted an ice maker. Perhaps we should have let the old one run until it gave up the ghost.

Newer machines take many more brand specific parts and repair people can't keep that much inventory in stock. And with no orders manufacturers don't make many becasue there is no demand. Nothing but fun.
