A nice quick dinner on a cool night...

one of my favs is grilled cheese and mater soup...

Hubby & son like hot ham and cheese or hot turkey and cheese.

So to make it different I buy:

or you can make home made. and I roll the ham or turkey and cheese in it and cook according to instructions ( I buy the lowfat)

and usually buy the heart healthy (Campbells) tomato and basil soup to go with. It makes for a great dinner on a Saturday night or any night you don't feel like cooking much. Just thought I'd share.

Mine tonight was the dregs of the chicken wing and rice noodle soup. Rice noodles had to be partially cooked separately and finished in the soup but the end product was yummy with big chunks of carrots and celery and onion along with the chicken wings and noodles. This batch was good enough that I didn't have to do the Szechuan pickled vegetable variation to get through the whole pot.

Is the wheat free similar too or the same as gluten free diet? I have tummy issues and have thought about going this route.

I buy the low sodium/low fat cuz hubby had a heart attack two years ago so we try and eat healthy. We rarely eat processed lunch meat and when I do, like for this meal it's low sodium low fat and you're not squeezing a whole lot in the croissants. LOL. We eat tons of veggies and beans, chicken, fish, and occasionally pork.

mostly gluten, in wheat flour. I'd expect cross sensitivity with rye and barley, so I avoid them too.
