Some things I would really like to use up:

Potatoes (small, white)
Feta Cheese
Smoked Gouda
Red Cabbage
and, wait for it......
HAM!

I was thinking a potato au gratin with the two cheese and ham or baked potatoes with cheese and ham and sweet/sour cabbage.

But I am open to any other ideas.

broiled. (I'm on a broiled sandwich kick. Got some good dark rye in and I'm putting together combos to broil quick)

I do have some lettuce, but will need to pick through it as it looks iffy.

We will head down to the "big city" on Thursday to make sure we are there when the family starts arriving on Monday, so I will be getting more groceries soon.

Fortunately, it's relatively easy for me to restock. So not a big deal. I know it's a bit more involved for you. Have a good trip to town!

Poached salmon filets, mashed potatoes, steam-sauteed Brussels sprouts, avocado salad, ciabatta rolls.

I worked outside all day so I'm tired. I raked leaves. Ugh!

Salsa chicken, yellow rice and roasted broccoli with peppers and onions.

Oh, and I'm having wine, I earned it. I only drink one wine, Moscato, haven't found another I like.

It is soooo good and I have some nice fresh tortillas. I'm just getting over a cold that killed my taste buds so I want something that will give them a bit of zing.
