Sweet Potato Cottage Pie - Killer!

This was so good that I am starting a thread to rave about it.

I made a couple of changes - a mixture of ground beef and pork, tomato paste/water instead of canned tomatoes.

The olives and raisins are a must. Try it, you won't regret it.

This is a savory pie and you can make it less caloric, though cbayer Nov 2012 #3

You certainly could. The sweet potatoes really made this dish, though. cbayer Nov 2012 #6

They were totally creamy and delicious and went great with the meat mixture.

Too bad you don't like sweet potatoes, but I think is would be almost as good with regular ones!
