it needs a new seal and the drain is clogged so I've got a very large iceberg in the bottom. Turning the garage fridge into a freezer for the next 2 days while the monster defrosts for the repairman.
Who knows what treasure I will uncover under all that frost..

Have a few other leftovers I need to take care of as well. So it looks like a nice salad, roasted veggies and the pork.

5. An unusual dinner, yet memorable dinner.

Tofu, black bean noodles, roasted veggies and a fried egg with a sweet, sour, and spicy sauce.

Ate by candle light and finished by dancing to some mellow jazz with my wife in the kitchen.

Tea is brewing, cheesecake is waiting, and the xmas tree is the only light we have on.

What an awesome night!

.....with some pine nuts as garnish. I caramelized the artichoke hearts first with a bit of butter and EVOO. Then I put the two cooked chicken breast portions in the pan, added the other ingredients and laid the fresh spinach layer on top to steam as the other stuff heated. It was delicious.
