(12,254 posts)Everyone hustles, the food is good, and the attitude can't be beat. We are so lucky to have them. I know...the day has been a see-saw.

(106,886 posts)Catered by a local bakery / cafe, buffet set up. A range of hand-sized sandwiches - roast beef, black forest ham, 3 cheese, avocado 'n salsa. All made with one of their bread specialties. A really good clam chowder. Mixed greens salad. Feta cheese, red onion and diced olives to top the greens. Fresh fruit plate. And...peanut butter cookies.
So, I'm just snacking tonight.
I wasn't in the mood for cooking today.

(22,271 posts)Something we RARELY do but between the tragedy of the school shooting and my house being so frickin' cold (our heater/cooler went out a year ago) I'd have to get on gloves and a parka to cook.
