1. Invited to a friend's for beef and cabbage soup.

2. No clue here either.

Maybe a tofu stirfry. Not sure.

But I do feel the need for a stong adult beverage.

3. Going out to Fiesta Mexico tonight.

I just used a half pound of spackle on my face because I've been crying off and on all day.

4. I wish we had good Mexican near by.

Now you have me craving.

It has been a sad day indeed.

7. It's a family place.

Everyone hustles, the food is good, and the attitude can't be beat. We are so lucky to have them. I know...the day has been a see-saw.

5. I pulled some bison chili out of the freezer.

I have a taste for chili dogs and the chili is the best batch I've made in years.

6. Went to a holiday lunch get-together at an agency I'm involved with.

Catered by a local bakery / cafe, buffet set up. A range of hand-sized sandwiches - roast beef, black forest ham, 3 cheese, avocado 'n salsa. All made with one of their bread specialties. A really good clam chowder. Mixed greens salad. Feta cheese, red onion and diced olives to top the greens. Fresh fruit plate. And...peanut butter cookies.

So, I'm just snacking tonight.

8. Tacos.

I wasn't in the mood for cooking today.

9. We just went out and got fast food tonight.

Something we RARELY do but between the tragedy of the school shooting and my house being so frickin' cold (our heater/cooler went out a year ago) I'd have to get on gloves and a parka to cook.

with a big bowl of raspberries for dessert.
