What's for Dinner ~ 12.21.2012 ~ Galactic Alignment/Zombie Apocalypse Edition

Last edited Fri Dec 21, 2012, 12:00 PM - Edit history (1)

I'm planning on antipasto for myself...I'm currently addicted to thin salami and smoked gouda.

BUT.... I do have chili available in case the Zombies show up. I will NOT share the cheese.

You?

Antipasto to accompany the arrival of the antichristo.

Again, I escape the kitchen. I sent a big package of wings to hubby's office potluck and a plate of the three cookies I made. When we go to our favorite sushi hangout tonight, I'm taking them a tin of candied ginger and chocolate dipped orange peel. It isn't as if I haven't been cooking, we just haven't been eating at home. Happy holidays!

ahhh, Yellerpup, you are a generous soul.

And Chellee, the filling of the ravioli is roasted vegetables, yes?

My salad (listed in header) was totally outrageous. Here's how I made it:

baby arugula
romaine, sliced
fennel, thin sliced
dill, chopped
toasted almonds
herbed goat cheese

For dressing, I sprinkled cabernet vinegar, tossed it, then added olive oil and a few squirts of lemon.

When I put the goat cheese in, I just dropped in teaspoons.

It was a wonnnnnnnderful salad.
