It was *super* yum

I'm bringing our leftover holiday cheeses ( A nice Trader Joe's Brie, Cabot cheddar, and Manchego) and a baguette and crackers.

I think I'll bake it, brushed with olive oil and sprinkle dill or lemon pepper.

The middle Cairykitten is home from college yet, so his favorite Hollandaise sauce will accompany the salmon and some steamed broccoli. Maybe some baked potatoes to round things out.

Sorry about the death in your family.

We are going to have steak and sautéed kale. The kale is wilting badly and needs to be eaten.

I wish you peace of heart in your grieving. We are having a reprise of last night's meatloaf and potatoes with whatever veggie Mr. Pup brings home from the market on his way home.

Dinner tonight is (leftover) chicken paprikash, saffron rice and salad.

I've been offline for five weeks while recovering from surgery to fix a detached retina and only today got permission to be online again. I've missed you all!

The surgery went very well and the doctor is pleased with my progress. Can't drive yet, but I still can't see all that well -- was able to read the top three lines on the eye chart only; the third line was tough going, though.
