We love biscuits and this recipe looks amazing. It's similar to my recipe only I use goat's milk, and pat them out on a board instead of in a glass 9x9. I also cut them out without folding or handling the dough too much. I melt butter on a rimmed baking sheet, dredge the top in butter then arrange them in the pan in the melted butter and bake at 425 for about 20 minutes. The photos are great. Sorry that Lynn's Paradise Cafe closed.

you only miss her when you want whole wheat biscuits. Took me years to find out that cooking and baking were separate jobs. In my family it was considered lazy not to make bread for the evening meal. Everyone should have one knock-out dish they can take to a party, and I'm sure whole wheat biscuits would be welcome anywhere.

When did they close? I used to eat there when I lived in Kentucky. I'll have to make the biscuits myself, I guess

non servers. The servers had to carry cash because most pay by credit card and could not tip the bus boy and cooks without cash. I think she probably was burned out and figured it was time to say bye. She gave all of her food stock to the poor and shut the doors.

My husband and I ran a homeless shelter for three years and always appreciated the food gifts. I hate that she had to close, though

Of the top businesswomen in our state.

I hope she wasn't a dick about this, but she didn't give her workers much of a warning.
