Related: About this forumIf you like the mussels in white wine sauce they serve at Carrabba's, here is a great copy of it.
This is called Cozze in Bianco on their menu, where it has been available for many years, surely because it is very good. Don't forget a loaf of fresh crusty bread for dipping.
Instead of writing it all out, here's a link.

Bertha's are steamed mussels served with a variety of dipping sauces. Most people get a 6 sauce flight.
Carrabba's are cooked in the sauce.
By the way, Barabara Mikulski lives on that side street, about halfway down the block. She was born in the house where she still lives today. If you know the history of that neighborhood, then you know she came from solid stock.

(50,130 posts)Used to go hear friends play jazz at Bertha's. It was a real trip, in more ways than one. Driving home from Fells Point to Falls Church late at night. Hmm.
We don't have Carrabbas out here btw.
