Well, that's my term for any dish I make where I use leftovers in a big skillet!

About 6 potatoes
1 pkg turkey sausage
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
3 celery stalks
4 kale leaves
Spices: allspice, red pepper, salt to taste

I sauté the potatoes first until they're semi-tender. I add my spices and then add the sausage, onions and garlic. Celery and kale go in last so they don't get too mushy.

(Probably the best year this backyard gardener has had in a long time. Bell peppers, cukes, tomatoes, red onions, white onions, herbs. No lettuces - too hot - but they'll go in around the end of Sept.)

Wow, I am impressed. I really miss gardening.....

and a real bathtub.

Otherwise, my life is pretty idyllic.

Not the best growing set up, but it works for me. And a nice "job" - step out the front door in sweats and water everything.

I share your sense of a pretty idyllic lifestyle. Who knew? Didn't see it coming at all. But there it is.
(aside) I've got a tub. Essentially use it as a reading room a few days a week. Soak and read. Soak and read.

I used to light candles, put on some great music and pour a glass of wine.

Now I get to do that only a couple times a year when visiting friends, but I sure do appreciate it when it happens!

And T-man would never turn it down. I think I am just going to have crab cakes with hatch chile with sliced tomatoes, cukes, onions and some homemade herb dressing.

I am thinking of making a tomato/cheese pie. I should make a salad, as my greens are losing it.

And maybe cut up some fruit and serve with yogurt.

Should be very casual.

go ahead and diss me, but it's good, even if from the Olive Garden, and it makes kale very tasty. Spicy sausage, onion, garlic, potatoes, kale, chicken broth and heavy cream - rich but tasty.

Marinated boneless chicken in homemade italian dressing made from pomegranite (sp?) balsamic vinegar, then into the crock pot with onions, potatoes and carrots. Fresh loaf of bread.

defrosted some bacon, used the last three eggs, cooked the package ends of linguine, spaghetti, and cappellini (easy, you just add to the boiling water at different times) and made a kick-ass carbonara.
