I think I made it once and it was definitely edible, thin and crunchy cookie surrounding a pile of chocolate chips and pecans.

However, it wasn't cookies, so I read the recipe more carefully the next time. I think I must've been about eleven.

And still be delicious but that really looks ucky. Was it cookies? I couldn't tell.

My friend gave me a recipe for the best chocolate chip cookies in the world. It's 3 freaking pages long. But they ARE good. And pretty.

recipe in my mom's old cookbook. It never did harden like it was supposed to and had the consistency of raw egg whites. My sister called it "cinnamon snot".
