I have the migas fixings here. Thai sounds good but I can't pull it off well, so always go for the take-out option.

I went to the bank early this afternoon. It's such a beautiful day (sunny, around 80, no humidity) that I decided to go have lunch at a place with outdoor seating. Ended up eating after 2 p.m. and am still full.

Dinner is likely to be strawberries and some of the fudge my sister brought me from her vacation.

tea-time-ish for dinner.
Fruit, chocolate, some lemon curd and maybe some scones or something light.

Polish style.

But it's a beautiful day here, too, so I won't be doing this until it gets dark. Off to the garden!

Fit the bill exactly today (in more ways than one). Local place and a really, really good dish.

But I rarely get to a Popeyes!

We are going to a baseball game tomorrow night, where I will have a big fat hot dog and a beer.

Trader Joe's shrimp gyoza (japanese style pot stickers), with a side of breaded shrimp, served with a dipping sauce of soy sauce/chilis/honey/rice vinegar, with a side salad of tomatoes/cukes/red onion with a asian style dressing (rice vinegar, sesame oil, and whatever I can find in my pantry).

Oh yeah, yummy!

Except IMHO you have to make your own dipping sauce, as their sauce is mediocre. Sounds like you made your own.

I remember "back in the day" before they made frozen potstickers and I made my own. Took me a whole day. I said never again and thanks to TJ's and the grocery stores carrying them, I don't have to.
