Haven't decided whether to put rice or noodles in it, but leaning towards rice.

Have eaten very little over last couple of days, but this is really calling my name.

Enjoy your pasta.

I'm still grumpy and sore, but I've really got nothing to complain about today.

I cooked my cannellinis that I had soaking from last night. I unfortunately overcooked them, so my resident gourmand has told me I should blend about half- to 3/4 a cup of them and stir them back in the bean cooking liquid and use it for soup. Put in the whole beans, of course.

So what had started to be a sort of vegetarian white bean/escarole/tomato casserole will now turn into white bean soup with kale, garlic, tomatoes, and pecorino cheese.

I have shishito peppers I may put on top.

Now, of course, this is just calling for cornbread, so will whip up a batch of that this afternoon.

It's not cool here, but the leaves are falling and the rain is drizzling lightly. It will be a nice night for soup.

I sauteed some chicken, garlic, spinach, tomato, and roasted eggplant and had it with angel hair pasta and a sprinkle of Parmesan. It was pretty darn good for something that I threw together at the last minute.
