Related: About this forumI'm thinking of making a Polish pizza. Suggestions?
I know it sounds wacky!. I'm thinking kielbasa, (obviously), a little bit of sauerkraut, and some gouda cheese. Maybe a bit of horseradish. Any other suggestions?

(10,137 posts)They were sort of an open-faced pierogi: kielbasa, of course, farmer's cheese, mushrooms - a big Slavic ingredient, gotta have them - and cabbage. No tomato sauce, as I recall. They may have had potatoes as well, but IMHO they didn't add anything. A dollop of sour cream on top would tie things together.
Or you could go with pickled herring, or beets...
