last year i promised you photos of fried chicken, well i finally remembered to get some last night. didn't get photos of the process as i was covered in raw chickenness, but here's a few for ya

Big congratulations to you fizzgig. It looks totally perfect.
Did you end up changing the oil between batches this time?
We are moving in a week and will be in a slip for a month, possibly more. I would never have a pan with that much oil in it while we are at anchor, but in a slip I will be able to give it a try.
One last thing - I bet that chicken is nearly as good cold as it is hot. Am I right?

(24,146 posts)it may very well be the rice flour that's throwing the flavor off just a bit (cooked it for my gluten intolerant bestie), but it was still damn tasty. i just cannot get over how moist the chicken comes out with this recipe and the skin is to die for and yes, it is just as tasty the next day
i hope you'll be able to give this a try, it is so worth the bit of effort that it takes.
