Sometimes, you just need some mac 'n' cheese.
That cheese and carbs combination makes it one of America's favorite comfort foods, kind of like a warm cheese-y hug on a plate. You won't eat it often, but if you're going to indulge, you might as well do it in style.

And I have to admit I still have a deep fondness for this stuff:
Me too, cbayer! Every now and them I just have to have a box of the original, powdered cheese and all!

(146,218 posts)After a particularly uncomfortable passage to a new harbor, I felt queasy, tired and really wanted some comfort food.
Then I remembered! I had a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese. Problems solved.

(24,146 posts)toss in a dallop of sour cream, so salsa and some frozen peas and i'm in heaven. i used to put a can of tuna in it, too, but that just grosses out the husband.

(1,918 posts)Hubby puts salsa on EVERYTHING, but I have never seen him do it on Mac & cheese. He'll flip when I do it first!
