What's the difference between yogurt cheese and Greek yogurt?

Both start as "regular" yogurt and the whey is drained from it.

I think texture-wise, it would depend on your starting yogurt and how well you strained if you make your own. Some people I know make their Yocheese quite thick, some add whipping cream for extra creaminess

a lot of different things you can do
when you strain the whey out of plain yogurt. I had it all typed out then lost it, so
