My favorites are people showing how to make vegetarian, mostly Indian cuisine, solar cooking, making smoothies and raw food, showing how to dry, can and otherwise preserve food. But I also like those made by people showing how to cook outdoors or do traditional cooking at home.

Everyone could post here, or I'll move these to pinned threads for the different kinds of recipes to add to them. Let me know if this is okay, if not, I'll delete it but I'm on a roll right now. For my first, I'm posting one from a lovely lady named Majula:

1. Easy French Onion Soup for Guests

This is one that differs from my method in a couple of ways. For one, I don't put it in the oven. I put the bread and cheese (or no cheese) in the bottom of the bowl and I ladle the soup on top of it. I fell in love with this soup from a restaurant in my hometown called La Madeleine. I think this could be made vegan with a little work.
