(14,733 posts)Phlebotomy class days have to be days I fix something that can easily be eaten earlier by me and later by the housemate, since I'm leaving for class about the time she gets home from work. And I didn't throw anything in the crock pot this morning, which means it's more likely I'll wind up just doing something out of a can or a sandwich.

(35,706 posts)and another Bellini peach salad. The first one was so good I'm making another! Crystallized almonds, mint, spring mix, roasted peaches and the dressing is made w/2 T of peach schnapps!
Might do some sort of waffle cottage fry-type potatoes in the oven, too.
Cup of tangerine orange tea and a few blueberries for dessert.

(50,130 posts)....and my current favorite salad, which is Trader Joe's baby power greens with English cucumber, red bell pepper, and crumbled bleu cheese with a vinaigrette.
It got the taste of my lunch out of my mouth. I had half a reuben at a restaurant, and instead of russian dressing or even thousand island, the sandwich was spread with a curry mayo. UGH!!! Nasty!

(135,425 posts)Some nicely flavored refried beans too (no lard, mind). Also a fresh salsa, some assorted lettuces, and avocado--and a little greek yoghurt instead of sour creme.
