(36,827 posts)Except for bananas. I store them on a post with a hook. If they don't get eaten I peal them, but them in a ziplock and store them in the freezer and make banana bread with them or smoothies.

It should have warned that the refrigerator turns those perfect yellow banana skins black. The fruit inside remains at the stage of ripeness it was when you refrigerated it.
