I made the RG's lamb-tomato sauce. He gave me explicit directions, and for the first time, I actually made something as good as he would!
I put in chopped eggplant and tonight I will stuff poblanos with it and top with lots of feta cheese. That's a great combo: ground lamb, tomatoes, and eggplant. There is a lot of onion and garlic in the sauce, too, as well as olive oil.
For an appetizer, crudite' with dip (jalapeno ranch yogurt salad dressing). I have cut up radishes, cucumbers, celery, and carrots. Also celery and broccoli that I par-boiled. Asparagus from the garden.
Dessert will be watermelon and pineapple.

(24,146 posts)i expect the husband will polish off the last few ribs, but that still leaves me mashers and broccoli slaw. i'll probably round it out with a bowl of cereal if i'm still hungry.
