would the person making all the jam please see here?

My cousin is making black cap jelly and wants to know how much water to add to make enough juice for the jelly.

Any hints?

I found a box of certo in the cupboard and it says 1/2 cup water for each six pints of black raspberries, making 4 1/2 cups of juice. That sounds about right, considering that black caps have little water.
