The temps shot up after a week of "oh so nice". We're back in the 100's again. So, something cold is in order.

Capicola, genoa salami, sharp provolone, with all the veggie suspects: lettuce, tomato, onion, green peppers, black olives, and pepperoncini. Oil and red wine vinegar, salt and pepper, on a 6-inch hoagie roll. (Sub, hoagie, grinder, whatev'.) Oh, and a glass of cabernet sauvignon.

Hope all is having a cool Labor Day!

ps: In order to get the items I needed for the sandwich, I had to go to no less than three store/shops. One place for the bread, another for the capicola, and still another for the salami. Quality matters to me, but...OY!
