Tossed salad with chicken breast that I seared and then mixed with pesto. Chipotle ranch dressing.

1. Going to the county fair tonight to work the spay/neuter booth so I'll

probably grab something there. The church booths used to have good food, but last year it was BLEAH! On second thought, maybe I'd better pack a cheese sandwich.

2. Just started a red sauce...

with hot Italian sausage and beef meatballs. 3 more hrs to go... 3 more hours...3 more hours...

Maybe rigatoni today... I still have 3 more hrs...

3. Breaded trout

from King Soopers; pretty good. Cole slaw, fresh asparagus, and fresh peach cobbler.

Have to save some money since I've been spending for birthday gifts for a friend.

(Eta: On the upside, my old boss called me up and I'm doing a little bit of piecework tech and debugging for him, so I've probably actually got some income to report for next year to the IRS if he gets around to paying me this time, heh.)
